Meet Jessica
I didn’t wake up one day and decide to become “the gut and root‑cause person” for pets. It happened slowly, over years of watching my own dogs — and my clients’ animals — move through the same frustrating patterns: mystery itchiness, recurring digestive flares, “normal” lab work paired with very not‑normal discomfort, and a revolving door of foods, meds, and supplements that never quite got to the bottom of anything.
Like most pet parents, I started out doing the best I could with what I knew. I followed labels, tried to trust the marketing, and pieced together advice from everywhere. But the more real‑life cases I sat with, the clearer it became that ultra‑processed, one‑size‑fits‑all feeding and symptom‑focused medicine were not giving these animals what their bodies were actually asking for.
So I went deeper. I studied species‑appropriate nutrition and became Billinghurst Raw Nutrition Certified (BRNC), trained as a Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist (CPCN), and completed my Certified Holistic Pet Health Coach (CHPHC) training. I experimented in my own home, worked case by case with client animals, and kept noticing the same thing: when we respected the animal’s biology, supported the gut and detox pathways, and looked at the whole picture — food, environment, stress, history — their bodies often did far more than “manage” symptoms. They actually started to heal.
Today, my work lives at that intersection: science‑informed, species‑appropriate nutrition and holistic pattern‑reading, grounded in real‑life constraints. Dogs are my primary focus, and cats are absolutely included; both deserve care that matches who they are biologically, not just what’s most convenient for the pet industry.

How I Work With You and Your Pet
I don’t look at a single symptom and try to shut it down. I look at your whole animal — their history, environment, nervous system, diet, and energy — to understand what their body is trying to say. From there, we work on root causes, not just better band‑aids.
My approach always comes back to returning to nature as much as your real life allows. That means species‑appropriate nutrition for dogs and cats, supporting the gut, liver, and detox pathways, and choosing plants and supplements that make sense for that individual animal, not just whatever is trending this month. Together, we build a plan that respects your pet’s biology, honors their unique story, and feels humane and sustainable for you to actually live out.
A Different Approach Than the Conventional Veterinary Nutrition Model
Many people who search for a “veterinary nutritionist” are really looking for deeper nutritional guidance for a dog or cat with chronic issues. Conventional veterinary nutrition, though, is usually shaped inside an allopathic model and often closely tied to commercial prescription diets and ultra‑processed food frameworks.
My work comes from a different place.
I focus on species‑appropriate canine and feline nutrition, root‑cause patterning, and a more nature‑aligned approach to allowing your pets body to return to homeostatis. Instead of asking how to better manage symptoms within the same system that may have contributed to imbalance in the first place, I help you look at the whole animal — gut health, inflammation, detox capacity, stress, environment, and food quality — so we can build a plan that supports the body’s innate ability to repair and regulate.
I’m not a board‑certified veterinary nutritionist, and I don’t replace your veterinarian. What I offer is a complementary, different lens: one that prioritizes biology over industry norms, nourishment over symptom suppression, and practical, species‑appropriate support for dogs and cats dealing with chronic issues. Ideally, I become part of your pet’s broader care team, alongside a vet you trust.
The Ecosystem Around This Work
If you’ve found me through The Pet Parenting Reset podcast, you already know I care about helping everyday pet parents ask better questions and feel more confident advocating for their animals. The conversations I host there feed directly into the way I support clients 1:1.
Through Wild Wellness, my online apothecary, I also curate tools, remedies, and testing options — like bioenergetics assessments — that align with this whole‑animal, return‑to‑nature approach. When we work together, we may draw on these resources, but the focus is always on what your specific animal actually needs, not on pushing products.
What It Looks Like to Work With Me
My packages are designed to give you more than a one‑time opinion. We start with an intake call so I can understand your pet’s history, current concerns, diet, environment, and the patterns you’ve been noticing. From there, we use follow‑up calls and email support in between to help you implement changes, observe what shifts, and adjust thoughtfully as your pet responds.
This work is collaborative and responsive. You’re not being handed a generic protocol and sent on your way — you’re being guided through a process of paying attention, making strategic changes, and learning how to better understand your own animal over time.
Ways We Can Work Together
Leaky Gut Package
For dogs and cats with allergy‑like symptoms, food sensitivities, chronic ear or skin issues, or “mystery” itchiness that keeps coming back. We zoom in on the gut, immune system, and detox pathways to support actual healing instead of playing whack‑a‑mole with flares.

Renewal Protocol
For everything else chronic that isn’t neatly in the “leaky gut” bucket. Think long‑standing issues, multiple systems involved, or a pet who has “been through it” with conventional approaches and still isn’t thriving. This is a deeper, whole‑animal reset that looks at patterns across time and builds a layered plan to support renewal at the root.

ReWild Your Pets Diet
For guardians who are ready to build a new paradigm of feeding altogether. ReWild is where we move your dog or cat toward truly species‑appropriate nutrition, step by step, in a way that fits your life. We rethink the bowl, make sense of ratios, and design a way of feeding that is rooted in biology and nature, not marketing claims or fear.

Recorded Report Review
For people who’ve run a Wild Wellness Pet bioenergetics test and want a deeper translation of what it all means. In this option, I review your report through a Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) lens and record a detailed walkthrough so you can understand the patterns, organ systems, and energetics at play — and how they might inform next steps in food and support.
