The goal: To move beyond constant food changes and guesswork, helping you develop a more informed, individualized, and sustainable approach to feeding your dog.

Leaky Gut & Food Sensitivities Support for Dogs

When the Itching, Ear Problems, and Digestive Issues Keep Coming Back

Your dog is scratching again. Maybe it's another ear infection, recurring yeast problems, inconsistent stools, gas, or a reaction to a food you thought was safe.

You've tried changing foods, adding supplements, and following recommendations, but you're still trying to figure out what actually works for your dog.

And somewhere along the way, you've probably wondered: Could their gut health be part of the bigger picture?

I'm Jessica Arrington, a Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist (CPCN), Billinghurst Raw Nutrition Certified (BRNC), and Certified Holistic Pet Health Coach (CHPHC).

Through this personalized nutrition and wellness coaching program, I help pet parents explore potential dietary triggers, evaluate food tolerances, and develop practical feeding strategies for dogs experiencing ongoing digestive concerns or suspected food sensitivities.

Looking Beyond the Symptoms

Skin, digestion, immune function, and nutrition are interconnected. But recurring symptoms don't always have a single cause, and food isn't always the culprit.

That's why we begin by looking at the individual dog — their health history, veterinary findings, current diet, food tolerances, medications, environment, and daily routines.

We'll use a structured, thoughtful approach to dietary evaluation, including elimination and food-challenge strategies when appropriate, while working alongside your veterinarian's care.

This isn't about chasing another supplement or switching foods every time your dog has a flare-up.

It's about learning what your dog tolerates, identifying meaningful patterns, and developing a nutritionally appropriate feeding approach you can maintain.

Because ReWilding isn't about following a generic gut-health protocol. It's about understanding the animal in front of you.

This program provides nutrition education and wellness coaching. It does not diagnose food allergies, intestinal permeability, or other medical conditions, and it does not replace veterinary treatment or monitoring.

A Personalized Approach to Food Sensitivities & Gut Health

When it comes to suspected food sensitivities, there's no single protocol that works for every dog.

Some pet parents come to me with food intolerance testing already completed. Others have spent months switching proteins, trying limited-ingredient foods, or removing ingredients without ever getting a clear picture of what's happening.

Where we begin depends on your dog, their history, and the information we have available.

When You Have Food Intolerance Test Results

If you've already completed food intolerance testing, we can review those findings as one piece of the bigger picture.

Depending on your dog's history, we may use the results to help guide initial ingredient choices and develop a thoughtful food rotation strategy.

Because many commercial intolerance tests aren't validated for diagnosing food reactions, we'll also consider your dog's actual responses to foods and whether a structured elimination and challenge process is needed.

When You Haven't Completed Testing

Without reliable information about potential dietary triggers, we take a more systematic approach.

That may mean starting with a carefully selected elimination diet, reducing unnecessary dietary variables, and tracking your dog's response over time.

When appropriate, foods can then be reintroduced individually to help identify which ingredients are tolerated and which may be associated with recurring symptoms.

Throughout this process, maintaining nutritional adequacy is essential, particularly when dietary restrictions continue for an extended period.

Beyond the Food Bowl

Food is only one part of the picture.

We'll also consider your dog's digestive history, veterinary findings, medications, environmental exposures, stress, and daily routines.

My goal isn't to put every dog on the same restrictive diet or keep them avoiding ingredients unnecessarily.

It's to help you understand your dog's individual needs, evaluate their feeding options, and develop a practical, sustainable approach to nutrition and wellness.

Because ReWilding means working with the animal in front of you — not forcing them into a protocol.

The ReWilding Process: A Personalized Approach to Gut Health & Food Sensitivities

When your dog has been struggling with recurring digestive problems, itching, or suspected food reactions, there's rarely a quick answer.

And constantly changing foods without a clear strategy can make it even harder to understand what's happening.

This 8–12-month coaching program is designed to take a more thoughtful approach — one that considers your dog's history, nutritional needs, food tolerances, and overall wellness.

Phase 1 — Understanding Your Dog's History

We begin by looking at the whole picture.

We'll review your dog's current diet, feeding history, symptoms, veterinary findings, medications, supplements, and relevant environmental factors.

If you've completed food intolerance testing, we'll discuss the results and their limitations. If not, we'll explore whether a structured elimination diet is an appropriate starting point.

The goal: Develop a clear strategy rather than continuing to guess which foods might be causing problems.

Phase 2 — Identifying Food Tolerances

This is where we begin putting our dietary strategy into practice.

Depending on your dog's individual circumstances, we may explore a carefully planned elimination diet or begin evaluating food rotation options.

We'll monitor relevant observations, maintain nutritional adequacy, and use controlled food challenges when appropriate to better understand your dog's responses.

Food rotation itself doesn't establish whether an ingredient is tolerated, so we'll use your dog's history and responses to guide decisions.

The goal: Build a better understanding of which foods are appropriate for your dog without unnecessary long-term restrictions.

Phase 3 — Customized Recipe Development

As we learn more about your dog's nutritional needs and feeding options, I'll formulate three customized recipes.

These recipes will take into consideration your dog's individual nutritional requirements, identified dietary restrictions, food preferences, and your comfort level with food preparation.

We'll also discuss how to implement the recipes appropriately and when veterinary input is needed, particularly if your dog has additional medical conditions.

The goal: Give you practical feeding options developed specifically for your dog.

Phase 4 — Implementation & Ongoing Support

Understanding which foods to feed is only part of the process.

We'll continue evaluating your dog's responses, discussing questions that arise, and considering adjustments when appropriate.

We'll also look beyond nutrition to explore environmental and lifestyle factors that may influence your dog's overall well-being.

Because changes in symptoms can have multiple causes, persistent or worsening concerns should be evaluated by your veterinarian.

The goal: Build a sustainable feeding and wellness routine instead of constantly starting over.

Phase 5 — Long-Term Confidence

As we approach the end of our work together, we'll review what you've learned, your dog's current feeding approach, and considerations for maintaining nutritional balance over time.

We'll discuss how to recognize when reassessment may be necessary and how to approach future dietary decisions with greater confidence.

The goal: Help you become a more informed advocate for your dog's nutrition and wellness.

This isn't about putting your dog on a restrictive diet forever. It's about understanding their individual needs and creating a thoughtful path forward.

The timeline varies because dietary evaluation, food challenges, and individualized feeding changes don't happen at the same pace for every dog.

Is This Gut Health & Food Sensitivities Program Right for Your Dog?

You've changed foods. Maybe you've tried different proteins, limited-ingredient diets, probiotics, or supplements.

Some things seem to help for a while. Others make no noticeable difference.

And you're still wondering what's actually going on.

This program may be a good fit if:

  • Your dog experiences recurring digestive concerns, such as inconsistent stools, gas, or occasional digestive upset.
  • Your dog struggles with itching, recurring ear problems, or skin irritation, and you're wondering whether food could be contributing.
  • You've tried multiple diets but still don't have a clear understanding of which ingredients your dog tolerates.
  • You have food intolerance test results and want help understanding their limitations and exploring appropriate next steps.
  • You're interested in a structured elimination diet but aren't sure how to approach it while maintaining nutritional balance.
  • You want customized recipes that account for your dog's individual nutritional needs and dietary restrictions.
  • You're ready to look beyond food alone and explore how environment, stress, and daily routines fit into your dog's overall wellness.
  • You're willing to take a thoughtful, systematic approach rather than expecting an overnight solution.

When This Program May Not Be the Right Fit

This isn't a quick fix, a generic gut-healing supplement protocol, or a promise to eliminate every symptom.

It's also not a substitute for veterinary evaluation. Persistent itching, recurrent ear infections, vomiting, diarrhea, or other ongoing symptoms may require medical investigation, even when food sensitivities are suspected.

And if you're looking for someone to identify every problematic ingredient from a single test result, this probably isn't the right approach.

My goal isn't to give you another list of foods to avoid. It's to help you better understand your dog, evaluate dietary options, and build a sustainable feeding strategy based on their individual needs.

Because ReWilding isn't about following someone else's protocol. It's about learning what works for the animal in front of you.

Stop Guessing. Start Understanding Your Dog.

When your dog is constantly itching, struggling with digestive issues, or reacting to foods, it's easy to feel like you're running out of options.

But another food change or supplement isn't necessarily the answer.

Sometimes, what you really need is a more thoughtful way to evaluate what's happening.

Through this 8–12-month personalized coaching program, we'll explore your dog's nutritional needs, investigate possible dietary triggers, and develop a practical feeding approach that considers the whole animal.

You'll receive individualized guidance, eight private coaching calls, email check-ins, and three customized recipes designed around your dog's nutritional needs and dietary considerations.

The goal isn't to keep your dog on a restrictive diet forever. It's to better understand what they tolerate and build a sustainable approach to feeding.
