Questions I get about at-home dog tests
What is an at-home food sensitivity test for dogs, and is it the same as an allergy test?
No. A food allergy is an immune reaction, and an elimination diet trial with your vet is how it gets confirmed. “Sensitivity” is the looser word for foods that don’t sit well with your dog: itchy skin, yeasty ears, loose stools. No at-home kit diagnoses either one. I use results as a starting point for what to try changing, then we watch how your dog responds.
What does the bioenergetic sensitivity scan measure?
It uses a saliva and hair sample, so no needles and no vet visit. The scan picks up energetic imbalances and stressors, and I use that to guide food and lifestyle changes. It’s a wellness tool, not a medical test, and it can’t confirm or rule out a food allergy.

Short answer: no. Some tests can help us narrow down what foods to remove and what foods to trial, which can help reduce the time to test foods.
