Antarctic Krill Oil for Cats & Dogs
This Antarctic krill oil is a highly bioavailable source of marine omega‑3s (EPA and DHA) for both dogs and cats, supporting skin and coat, joints, heart, kidneys, and brain health. Because krill’s phospholipid form is more easily absorbed than many traditional fish oils, you can often use a smaller amount for the same or better benefit. It also naturally contains the antioxidant astaxanthin, which helps protect these delicate fats from oxidation.

How I use this in WWP plans
I reach for krill oil when we need a clean, marine-based omega‑3 to balance a fresh or raw diet (or any diet), especially for pets with dry skin, itchy coats, stiffness, or senior cognitive changes. We weave it into a broader species-appropriate plan rather than using it as a standalone “fix,” and I always adjust amount based on diet, size, and individual response. While feeding small, oily fish is the best option, it's not always possible. This is my 2nd choice. Here's why...
Why I prefer this Omega 3 over others
There are many factors to consider when choosing a fish oil or other Omega 3 supplement. Sourcing is crucial since we want to be responsible guardians of the planet and those inhabiting it. Small oily fish from very cold waters are often preferred, and krill is another amazing resource.
Processing is important because we want the finished product to contain what it claims to contain and nothing it doesn't, like heavy metals and microplastics.
Storage is also important. Fats and oils are fragile, so they need to be stored in dark glass bottles (or gel caps) to protect from light and air. No pumps. Ever. Pumps force air into the oil over and over again, creating rancidity.
We also want to purchase the smallest amounts possible to last us just a few weeks at a time because of how quickly oils turn rancid. It's also my preference to store the oil in the dark glass bottle in the fridge to continue to help extend the shelf life.
When the Two Crazy Cat Ladies created this product, they had every single one of these concerns in mind!
