Building Your Pet’s Holistic Healthcare Team: Pet Health Coaching & Canine Nutrition Support
Pet Health Coach & Canine Nutritionist
Build a Care Team for Your Dog
Building a health care team for your pet is crucial to the health span and lifespan of every dog and cat, not just because it allows you as the pet parent to take your power back, but it also gives your pet the best chances of finding the individualized approach to true health care that is lacking in our current system. For that reason, this is a topic I have covered many time on The Pet Parenting Reset podcast with many different guests.
Most veterinarians are trained allopathically which is great for emergency medicine and diagnostics, but much more is needed to maintain a preventive care routine to maximize the health span of your dog or cat. A trusted veterinarian is a foundational piece of your pets care team, but there are many more important roles to fill.
Some of the team members that may be a part of your pets care team will include a veterinarian, groomer, day care, pet sitter, nutritionist, holistic / integrative veterinarian and/or a holistic pet health coach. While this may not be an exhaustive list, it does allow us to dive deeper into some of the roles that you may be less familiar with, such as a canine nutritionist and pet health coach.
Just like with veterinarians, not every nutritionist and not every pet health coach is created equally. We all have different backgrounds and sometime specializations. I have a food first, or food as medicine approach to preventive care. While I will always make recommendations to clean up the environment, the air, the water, and to bring more of nature back into your life and your pets life, the next step for me is always what we feed (and what we shouldn't feed) because food informs the cells. Supplementation may be necessary, but food always comes first, and we will always try to use food supplements before anything else.

What does nutrition and pet health coaching look like? Working together through video calls and emails has been very successful for my clients. I offer a few different packages to suit your pets needs from a simple one time nutrition consultation, to long term packages for dogs and cats who need more support. Not sure which package is right for you? Book a free discovery call with me to discuss your pets individual needs. |
For many dogs, starting with a bioresonance, or bioenergetics test can help us not only narrow down food sensitivities, but using Traditional Chinese Veterinary principles, help identify underlying patterns of energetic imbalances, which will allow us to tailor recommendations using TCVM principles of energetics to help restore balance to the body. Other at home testing, in addition to veterinary testing can help us understand what is actually going on inside of your dogs body to tailor a custom plan.
Whether you choose to start with at home testing or not, individualized pet health and nutrition coaching is a great option to expand the preventive care measures you provide for your pet. From a recorded report review helping you understand the results of your Wild Wellness Pet Bioresonance test kit, to a custom package with up to 12 months of support, I am happy to help you provide the best possible care for your pet as part of their care team. You can find all of the packages currently available to you at Wild Wellness Pet by clicking here.
If you value a food‑first, gentle, holistic approach that works alongside your vet, you’re in exactly the right place. My work is designed to complement your veterinarian’s care, not replace it, by focusing on prevention, comfort, and addressing root imbalances through nutrition, environment, energetic testing and emotional support.
